George G. Wedd, III MD
Dr. Wedd was an original partner in Cheserfield Primary Health Care in 1980. He received his medical degree at VCU-MCV, and completed his Family Practice Residency at DeWitt US Army Hospital.
Harriet Schanzer, MD
Dr. Schanzer joined CPHC in 1986 after her Family Practice Residency was completed at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She earned her medical degree at VCU-MCV.
Peter W. Smithson, MD
Dr. Smithson joined the practice in 1988 after finishing his Family Practice Residency at MCV-Chippenham. He received his medical degree at University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom.
Sara Scott Breeden, MD
Dr. Breeden received her medical degree at East Carolina University and her specialty training in Family Medicine at MCV-Hanover. She has been a member of the practice since 1998.
F. Wayne Mathewson, MD
Dr. Mathewson received his undergraduate degree in bio-chemistry from Virginia Tech. He received his MD from the University of Virginia. He is Board Certified in Family Practice.
Helen B. Adams, MD
Dr. Adams joined Primary Health Group in 2006 she received her medical degree from University of North Carolina and completed her FP residency at Atlanta Medical Center.
Vicki B. Latham, MD
Dr. Latham joined the practice in 2007 after completing her Internal Medicine Residency and Geriatrics Fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She received her medical degree from VCU-MCV.
Jessica L. Ormsmith, MD
Dr. Ormsmith received her Bachelors of Science in Biology at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, in 1997. She obtained her medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia Campus of Virginia Commonwealth University, in 2003. She completed her residency training at the Chesterfield Family Medicine Residency Program in Richmond, Virginia.
She is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Special medical interests include Preventive Medicine, Women's Health, Diabetes, Asthma, and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Dr. Ormsmith is married and enjoys spending time with her family, singing with her church worship team, and traveling.
